FilmProt

Acronym FilmProt Title The use of Escherichia coli biofilms for the production of recombinant proteins and other added-value compounds Summary

The project has two main objectives, the first is to optimize culture conditions to determine the maximum specific and volumetric yields that can be obtained with the biofilm system and the second is to investigate the robustness of the system by studying its ability to express proteins of different sizes. To this end, the system will Coordinatorultaneously express 3 enzymes comprising a 4-step artificial pathway for the synthesis of a value-added compound.
