Short Bio:
Pedro Rosa completed the master’s degree in Bioengineering and Nanosystems, at Instituto Superior Técnico, having developed the master’s thesis in Glutathione-Responsive Smart Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles for drug delivery applications. Currently, he is a Materials Engineering PhD student at Instituto Superior Técnico and holds a doctoral scholarship from FCT. His PhD work is focused on the development of light-responsive Janus silica nanoparticles for drug delivery applications.
Research Focus:
Investigation of biomaterials and processes to biofabricate human tissues.
