Ricardo Pereira participated in the 1st International Online Conference on Marine Science and Engineering (IOCMSE 2025), held from 24 to 26 November. The conference was organised by the MDPI Journal of Marine Science and Engineering and focused on promoting the exchange of innovative ideas while addressing key challenges in marine science and engineering, an area closely linked to global sustainability.

Ricardo Pereira, together with José Chaves Pereira and Carla de Carvalho (2BRG-iBB), presented the poster entitled “Insights into marine cell adhesion to surfaces: a Computational Fluid Dynamics approach”. The work was recognised with the Best Poster Award, highlighting the quality and relevance of the research developed at iBB.
