The Stanford–Elsevier World’s Top 2% Most Influential Scientists 2024 lists have been released, recognizing researchers from Instituto Superior Técnico and its research unit iBB – Institute for Bioengineering and Biosciences among the most cited scientists worldwide.

These rankings, developed by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, identify the world’s top 2% of scientists based on standardized citation indicators across all disciplines.
