The second workshop of the EU Project DIG4BIO has wrapped up at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) after a productive three-day session focused on model-based techniques in bioengineering.
The workshop comprised both in-person and virtual sessions covering key topics such as mechanistic, data-driven, and hybrid modeling. It concluded with case studies that demonstrated practical applications of the concepts discussed throughout the sessions.
Special thanks to all attendees for their active participation, and to the organizers, Krist Gernaey and Carina L. Gargalo, along with the lecturers, whose contributions made the workshop a success.
This collaborative effort represents a valuable step forward for biomanufacturing and innovative model-based approaches. We look forward to continued progress in the DIG4BIO project.
