We are pleased to announce the upcoming DIG4BIO Workshop on Consistent Bioprocess Development, hosted by Technische Universität Berlin.

Date: 26–27 March 2026
Format: Hybrid (on-site at TU Berlin + online participation)
Capacity: Limited to 10 on-site participants and 20 online participants

This workshop introduces model-based and digital approaches for efficient bioprocess development, supporting the transition from high-throughput laboratory experimentation to industrial-scale production.

Workshop Topics

Participants will explore modern computational and process engineering tools, including:

  1. Model-based approaches for bioprocess development
  2. Scale-up and scale-down strategies
  3. Model-driven monitoring of fed-batch processes
  4. Design of Experiments (DoE) using model-based methods
  5. Process flowsheet simulation
  6. Hands-on practical exercises with bioSTEAM

The workshop is delivered by experts from Technische Universität Berlin and combines theoretical lectures with practical training sessions.
