iBB researchers Ana Rita Silva-Santos, Sara S. Rosa, Ana Azevedo and Miguel Prazeres, in collaboration with Marco Marques from UCL, have developed an ion-pair reversed-phase HPLC method to accurately quantify DNA scaffolds used in DNA origami, overcoming the inaccuracies of traditional methods. The technique enables precise separation and quantification of single-stranded and double-stranded DNA, thus providing analytical suport to the production of DNA scaffolds.
