Summary
Valorization of bio-waste and water from industrial tomato processing according to concepts of biorefinery and Bioeconomy, with the extraction of functional and bioactive compounds involved, later, in the generation of new internationally tradable products, and monomers for the synthesis of bio-polyesters, via Green Chemistry and Biocatalysis, used in the manufacture of new food films, packaging materials and biomedical applications.
