Acronym LFA4Covid Title Development of a Lateral Flow Assay working prototype for detection of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 Summary

The project goal is to set-up and validate a working prototype of a Lateral Flow Assay (LFA) to detect IgG and IgM antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 virus in human samples. We will characterize and validate the LFA performance with preCovid and Covid sera (% of false/true positives/negatives). The project builds upon the Covid-ELISA expertise of the Serology4Covid consortium. Ultimately, we aim to create an LFA that can be manufactured at scale by national companies, independently of global markets.
