Expertise: Protein Engineering, Upstream Processing, Downstream Processing, Immunoassays
Short Bio:
Sara Viveiros completed the Master's Degree in Biological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in 2019, with a focus on the application of multifunctional magnetoresistive biochips for the detectin of genomic DNA. She then worked as a Research Fellow at INESC-MN in the Moore4Medical project, with a focus on design and fabrication of cilia-inspired flow sensors. Currently, Sara is finishing a PhD in Biotechnology and Biosciences at IST, developing her research project on optimization strategies for the manufacturing of nanobodies for diagnostic applications.
Research Focus:
Upstream and downstream processing of antibody fragments, with a focus on optimizing their properties for diagnostic applications.
