Expertise: Microbiology, Molecular biology, Bioinformatics and Genomics.
Short Bio:
I hold a Bachelor's in Biochemistry and a Master's in Biotechnology, and I am currently a PhD student in Bioengineering and Biosciences. My research focuses on Candida glabrata resistance mechanisms to azoles and its distribution in non-human environments. Driven by curiosity, I am dedicated to understanding microbial adaptation and resistance, aiming to contribute to better therapeutic strategies and public health insights. My work combines microbiology, molecular biology, and epidemiology to explore fungal resilience beyond clinical settings.
Research Focus:
Focus on Candida glabrata resistance mechanisms to azoles and its distribution in non-human environments, exploring adaptation, epidemiology, and potential reservoirs beyond clinical settings.
