Short Bio:
Luis P. Fonseca got his Ph.D. in 1995 and D.Sc. in 2006 obtaining expertise in Biosynthesis of high-value bioproducts by fermentation, Enzyme technology and biocatalysis, Drug Delivery Carriers and production of other biomaterials, Green chemistry based on environmentally-friendly bioprocesses, and Synthesis of biobased and biodegradable polymers. He looks to contribute to Industrial Biotechnology, Cosmeceuticals, Nutraceuticals, and Pharmaceuticals applications focusing on Biocatalysis (Aromase Technology), Drug Delivery Nanocarriers (NanoLipCar Technology), development of sustainable Green Bioprocesses especially in the field of Biorefineries (ValWasteOil and TomateWaste Technologies) and synthesis of a new generation of polymers (Polymers-5B Technology) for plastic circular economy.
