Short Bio:
Luís Constantino is a PhD student in Biotechnology and Biosciences at the University of Lisbon - Instituto Superior Técnico. He holds a Master’s degree in Medical Parasitology from Universidade Nova de Lisboa - Instituto de Higiene e Medicina Tropical (2018) and a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Biotechnology with a specialization in Food Safety from the Ibero-American University of Mexico (2016).
For his PhD thesis, he worked on the dynamics of Anopheles stephensi mosquito microbiomes at different stages of the life cycle.
In 2023, he worked at the Manhiça Health Research Center as a Senior Entomology Technician and was a guest researcher at KEMERI. From 2021 to 2022, he held the same position at the Manhiça Health Research Center.
Between 2019 and 2021, he worked as a Health Specialist (Medical Parasitologist) at the Ponta Gea Urban Health Center in Beira. From 2014 to 2019, he was a Senior Laboratory Technician at the same center. Between 2013 and 2015, he worked as a Senior Laboratory Technician at the Gender-Based Violence Victim Support Center in Beira.
