Filipe Miguel is a PhD student in Bioengineering, dedicated to advancing cartilage regeneration through cutting-edge tissue engineering strategies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2020) and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Instituto Superior Técnico (2022). His research focuses on developing innovative systems that can be seamlessly translated into in vivo applications, aiming to effectively address degenerative cartilage conditions such as osteoarthritis. By bridging the gap between laboratory research and clinical implementation, Filipe strives to contribute to the future of regenerative medicine.
