Short Bio:
Diogo Gonçalves (DG) graduated in biochemistry in 2016 from Universidade Nova of Lisboa, Faculty of Science and Technology. It was during his bachelor´s degree that he participated in the ERASMUS program during one semester at Università di Torino (Turin, Italy). In the same year he engaged a post-graduation in Bioorganic chemistry, completing it in 2017. In 2020 he enrolled a master´s degree in Biotechnology at Instituto Superior Técnico and completed it in 2022. Started his PhD program in 2024 at Instituto Superior Técnico.
Research Focus:
Investigation on extracellular vesicles as decoys for bacterial toxins.
