Short Bio:
Cristiana da Silva Ulpiano is a final-year PhD student specializing in Biotechnology and Biosciences. She holds a BSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology from NOVA School of Science and Technology and an MSc in Biotechnology from Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon. Her work is focused on engineering mesenchymal stromal cell-derived extracellular vesicles using RNAi-expressing minicircles, with the purpose of developing a novel cell-free therapeutic approach for angiogenic disorders characterized by vascular overgrowth.
