Expertise: PAT- process analytical technology applied to bioprocesses, Drugs discovery & development, Metabolomics
Short Bio:
Cecília R.C. Calado is a Researcher in Bioengineering and Biosciences, presents a BSc in Biochemistry (5 years university), and a MSc and a PhD in Biotechnology and Aggregation in Biochemistry. She associates analytical techniques to acquire the molecular fingerprint of biological systems, with machine learning algorithms, to: • develop monitoring techniques of bioprocesses, in situ and in real time or at-line high-throughput, as included in PAT- process analytical technologies. • develop platforms for drugs discovery and development, including antibiotics and vaccines. • discover biomarkers for medical diagnosis and prognosis.
