Short Bio:
Catarina Jones is a PhD student in Bioengineering at iBB/SCERG. She graduated as a Biomedical Engineer in 2023 (Instituto Superior Técnico) with a specialization in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. Since her master thesis, she has focused on conducting research in cancer bioelectricity as a potential therapeutic target, by developing and characterizing wireless nanobioelectronic systems aimed at providing more accessible and efficient solutions for cancer treatment.
