Sandra N. Pinto
Post-Doctoral Researcher Fellow

Research Activities
Sandra Pinto does research in Medicinal chemistry and Cell biophysics. Her current work is focused on:
- Development of new antimicrobial agents (peptides and peptidomimetics) against multi-drug resistance bacteria and bacterial biofilms.
- Identification of quindoline derivates and dendrimer-based compounds as anticancer drugs
- Nonlinear fluorescent molecular materials tailored for applications as dyes in bioimaging
