Research Activities

I’m interested in unravelling the mechanism by which ceramides exerts its biological effects. Ceramides are a family of sphingolipids with distinct biophysical properties, different ceramides may have different biophysical properties and the hypothesis that I’m working on is that the biological effect it’s related with these biophysical alterations.
