Host-Microbial Interactions and Symbioses
My current research is focused on the isolation and characterization of microbes derived from different stages of a fish life cycle (Eggs, Larvae, and Juveniles) and evaluate their antagonistic activities against fish pathogens. I am also interested in study the host-probiotic interactions. The final goal is to develop symbiotic bacterial cocktails to prevent microbial disease outbreaks during fish larviculture.
