Research Activities

My topic of studies consists in evaluating the cellular signaling state of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) and the mechanisms that control cell fate. Specifically, study the signaling behind the transition between the pluripotent state and differentiation into neuroectoderm, mesoderm (cardiomyocytes) and endoderm. The obtained data, conjugated with modeling approaches and systems biology tools aims to contribute to optimize and develop new bioengineering processes. .
