In order to better mimic the
in vivo microenvironment,
three-dimensional (3D) suspension conditions are starting to emerge as
a promising alternative to perform the efficient in vitro expansion and
controlled differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSC). My
research is focused on developing an integrated, scalable and
cost-effective platform for expansion and neural commitment of hPSC as
a 3D suspension culture.
