Research Activities

My main research activities are:
- Development of techniques to grow marine bacteria under laboratorial conditions, screening of enzymatic activities and secondary metabolites.
- Development of microreactores to assess the enzymatic activity of the cells and the production of commercially interesting metabolites.
- Integrated bioprocess development, including product recovery.
- Bioremediation processes for environmental clean-up applications.
