Interests
My research focuses on the development of aliphatic polyester synthesis, by the reaction of carboxylic diacids with dialcohols, using enzymes, in different reaction media, to obtain a most efficient biocatalytic system. The main focus of this work is to demonstrate the influence of diverse parameters, such as the type of enzyme (lipase, cutinase), enzyme immobilization and reaction conditions on the synthesis of polyesters by polycondensation reaction.
